The Marvellous Hill of Montjuïc

This stunning viewpoint offers great vistas over the port and the city itself. At the top you will even find the Castle of Montjuïc where you can get lost amongst Barcelona’s rich history. If you’re feeling adventurous you can walk to the highest point on foot, if not a cable car ride will take you to the very top next to the castle.

There is also a cable car that runs from Barceloneta beach, over Port Vell, to Plaça de l’Armada half-way up the hill. Here you will find a number of bars and restaurants to grab a bite to eat or, if you prefer, bring along your own food and relax in one of the park’s many picnic spots.
